YSL Lash Latex Commercials

I don't get these commercials. The blond chick has an uneven face and the pulled back hair and "pre makeover" vibe just emphasizes it.

Mascara is NOT comparable to a workout and they've got women in workout clothes applying mascara. Who puts on mascara to go to the gym?

They are putting black mascara on a washed-out looking blond. Why?

She could use a smidgen of color in her brows to give her face some definition. Plus BROWN mascara and eyeliner so you can find her eyes.

So it caught my eye because I wear no makeup, sport short hair and there are no photos of me currently online in part for political reasons. I object to the enormous pressure to look like a picture perfect sex worker.

I like looking good and feeling attractive. Why is it women get to choose between looking like a prostitute or an unattractive android?

Surely there's space between these two extremes.
